You are on fire, Mita - that is also a good idea for R Advice. Just to try and make it easy to understand for now. Some people have two very different halves of their cycle. The 1st half - the follicular phase is where oestrogen is in charge - oestrogen can deal better with stress and cortisol. The 2nd phase - the luteal phase - is where progesterone rises. Progesterone does not do so well with high levels of stress. This is why fasting and HIIT classes may not serve you so well in this phase, and splitting the month and turning to more restorative practices would be VERY beneficial for anyone who does experience these phases very distinctly x
