For now I would -

Pull back on raw kale and beetroot for a bit

Cook your greens – makes them gentler and easier to process

Add in bitter foods – rocket, chicory, lemon water – really simple liver support

And just check you’re having a proper daily poo – boring but essential!

It’s all fixable – and I think your instinct is always pretty good. Keep me postedxxx

Mita Davda Hey Mita – yes, I hear you. Oxalates are a funny one – in small amounts, they can actually be quite useful. Bit of a hormetic stressor – they challenge the system just enough to help the gut become more resilient, which is great if the body's in a good place to handle it.

But if there’s already a bit of inflammation or sluggish detox, or if they’re coming in daily and in high amounts (like with raw beetroot and kale in a shake), that’s when it can tip over – and you start to see things like skin flare-ups, bloating, or that congested, heavy feeling.

The eyebrow skin thing is interesting – that area does link to liver and digestion in skin mapping, and it fits with the idea that your system might just be saying ‘enough’ for now.

Liver Juice can definitely help – it supports bile flow and proper clearance, which is key for shifting excess oxalates and anything else that’s hanging around.

Hi Helen McEnery - it is sooooo hot! Cool flannels are great, cold showers throughout the day if that is an option, and before bed can help you sleep a bit better. Breathing is a great way to release internal heat - think of animals and how they pant to cool down. xx
