Happy birthday RHC, it’s been a pleasure! Here’s to much more x

19 Jul 21:19

I always put probiotics in for Dylan and do a full months course! I always take hydration sachets, my gluthiaone / methyl b comes with as do vitamin C and NAC. I fact I also take (currently on hols), probiotics (3 months at a time). Some really nice travel sachets on Healf…

Calendula cream always travels with me, as does Aloe Vera in case of sun burn! Green people SPF for the whole family without all the extra shit in it! You’ll smash it - stay safe xxx

I've always exercised fasted if that is any consolation and really see the benefits, specially before something like pilates. I used to have an espresso before workouts but have swayed my decision on that in recent months ... and only with or after breakfast and that’s largely as I’m try to stick to 3 complete meals a day - xx

Sorry Rose, only just seeing the topic is fatigue ..... ignore my question on supplements then, honestly no need - I'll be coming to you once my GI is done so all good xxx

I’m terrible for following the latest supplement trends. Should we test before supplementation regime or are there general rules to follow and should some supps be non-negotiable for a mid 40’s female! SPMs, Zinc, Berberine, Quercetin, Gluthiaone and Methl B complex, Curcumin, Enterovite, NAC form part of my current list - I could add so much more…

Ahhh thanks Laura, it’s been quite some weeks but I’m there (6 days to go….) xx

Thursday Inspo: Your Body is BRILLIANT and So Are YOU! 🌟

Hey beautiful gang! 🌞

It's absolutely GORGEOUS in London today and I'm feeling beyond ACE! 🔥✨ I wanted to share something deeply personal that's been lighting me up from the inside out... and hopefully spark that same fire in anyone who needs to hear this right now.

I'm always telling Rose how much I'd love for this to be a vocal, supportive community (clearly I'm vocal AF 😅) - so here I am, stepping up and sharing some serious Thursday magic! ❤️

The Universe Has Perfect Timing (Even When It Doesn't Feel Like It) 🌌

I've always been that "get it DONE" kind of girl - drop the BS, live that 80:20 life... okay fine, 70:30 if we're being real 😅 But sometimes life has other plans...

When I had my bike accident, I genuinely thought it would be the end of my world. The NHS wanted urgent surgery - nails in my ankle to stabilize everything. My mind screamed NO, my heart screamed NO, but I listened anyway because that's what we do, right?

Here I was - someone who trains daily, who MOVES, who thrives on that energy - suddenly facing a broken ankle and what felt like my entire world grinding to a halt. The anxiety was real, friends. SO real.

But Here's Where the Magic Happened ✨

Instead of just accepting what I was told, I did what I do best - I RESEARCHED. I followed paths I knew, dove deeper into functional medicine than ever before, and most importantly... I listened to my body.

My mind kept whispering: "Your body KNOWS how to heal. Trust it. You've absolutely got this, Mita."

Was it risky? Yes. But I trusted my body and its incredible ability to heal without surgery.

Those first 2 weeks were HARD. I had to rely on everyone around me - even my incredible little 4-year-old boy became my helper. But looking back now, I see it so clearly: the Universe was literally forcing me to slow down, to receive, to trust.

I worried (because I'm human!) BUT I focused on recovery and recovery ONLY. I started to believe - really, truly believe - that I CAN and I WILL!

Week 3: Goodbye crutches! Hello gentle steps and ordering dumbbells for home (why did I get rid of my COVID ones?! 🥹)

Week 4: First gym session! Reluctant but determined to give my mental state some peace ☑️

Week 5: 60% back in the game! Not pushing weight through my feet/ankles yet, but managing 10k steps daily like the absolute warrior I am! 💪

If You're Reading This and Deliberating... DON'T! Just GO. DO. IT.

Believe in yourself with every fiber of your being. Take that moment to breathe (seriously, breathe!) and set yourself an affirmation that lights you up from the inside out.

Here was mine and I am not shy to share it anymore ...

"This is my body processing. It knows how to heal. I support it. I don't need to fix — just flow."

This time next week, it'll be my 6th week X-ray and I know, not that my body is healing beautifully.

I embraced most of Rose's incredible practices and things that you just know, you know?!

  • Anti-inflammatory eating (hello ginger, turmeric root, beets!)

  • Maybe too much kale 😅 - thanks to the abs shit spot on my forehead - pfffffffffs!

  • And the game-changer: BIG focus on PROTEIN

My body tells me I've got this.

If you're in a similar place right now - whether it's an injury, a setback, or just feeling stuck - please know that you're not alone. Your body is on your side. Your healing is happening. Your comeback is coming.

Your body is brilliant - trust it!

Sending you all the love and healing vibes! 🌟💪❤️

Rose Ferguson amazing, exactly what I have done and will continue to do! Stripped back the raw beets / kale + cacao his week... added those bitter foods and cooking veg per our reset, just back to basics. Thing is, I am poo'ing daily - same time - literally, same place. Hahahaha, no issues there [phew]. Thanks as ever ... hope this is useful to anyone else out there too!

Anddd breathe ............ xxx
